China Anti-Monopoly Bureau approved Yageo to acquire KEMET
2020/04/29Yageo Corporation (TAIEX: 2327) today announced that, the company received a notice from the Anti-Monopoly Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation in China for its unconditional approval of the acquisition of KEMET Corporation (NYSE: KEM) by Yageo, making this acquisition approved by all of the required global antitrust regulatory authorities. This approval also becomes a remarkable milestone to complete this merger.
The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2020, subject to additional customary closing conditions.
