Yageo reports its first-quarter results of 2019
2019/04/24Yageo Corporation (TAIEX: 2327 TW) today announced its first-quarter results of 2019. Net consolidated sales reported NT$ 11,394 million, up 3.4% y-o-y but down 29.7% q-o-q.
Net consolidated profits after tax attributable to parent company in the first quarter reported NT$ 2,590 million or NT$ 6.11 earnings per share. Gross margin rate posted 44.8%, down 6.6% percentage point y-o-y and 14.3% percentage point q-o-q, respectively.
The operating income reached NT$ 2,999 million with 26.3% of operating profit margin, down 16.1% percentage point y-o-y and 1.8% percentage point q-o-q, respectively.
Non-operating items posted a net gain of NT$ 131 million in the first quarter, including realized and unrealized net loss on foreign exchange NT$ 44 million, investment income under equity method NT$ 43 million, net interest income NT$ 137 million, and other net loss of NT$ 5 million.
