Yageo reports its third-quarter results of 2018

Yageo Corporation (TAIEX: 2327 TW) today announced its third-quarter results of 2018. Net consolidated sales reported NT$ 30,666 million, up 59.3% q-o-q and up 266.4% y-o-y.
Net consolidated profit after tax attribute to parent company in the third quarter reported NT$ 14,503 million or NT$ 34.35 earnings per share. Gross margin rate posted 69.3%, up 5.2% percentage point q-o-q and up 39.0% percentage point y-o-y.
The operating income reached NT$ 16,953 million with 55.3% of operating profit margin, down 0.5% percentage point q-o-q but up 33.4% percentage point y-o-y. Non-operating items posted a net gain of NT$ 381 million in the third quarter, including realized and unrealized net gain on foreign exchange NT$ 501 million, investment income under equity method NT$ 192 million, investment loss NT$ 556 million, net interest income NT$ 143 million, other net income NT$ 101 million.
